Benefits of Meditation
Research shows meditation can have a variety of benefits for physical and psychological health and well-being. Among those benefits are reduced stress, blood pressure, and inflammation, and improvements in memory, kindness and compassion for self and others.
There’s nothing woo-woo about it. Mindfulness Meditation is simply training the mind. We can learn to be less reactive to the things that set us off. We can learn to cope more skillfully with life’s most intense stressors. And, we can learn to lighten up, pay attention and enjoy life more. Simply by being present.
